Issue 8, 20th February 2009 It's been a while since our last newsletter, but now we're back with some great new stuff to show you for 2009. Making it onto the 1st page of Google
We pride ourselves on the quality of our search engine optimisation skills and employ them on all of the sites we build. Of course any company can make big sweeping statements, but recently we’ve been seeing the results of our efforts. Find out how we're doing on our blog. Web applications
Lead programmer Robbie Lewis joined Internet Essentials almost two years ago and has helped us develop the skills required to build some pretty sophisticated web applications. Web applications (or web apps as they are more commonly referred to) are complex pieces of software that run from within a user's web browser. In recent years the use of these applications has soared amongst businesses as they look to move their internal business systems onto the web or provide customers with additional services. Take a look at our latest web apps on our blog. Launch: www.the-winery.co.uk
After the success of The Pavilion website for Branston Golf & Country Club, parent company Burton Inns approached us produce the website for their latest venture, The Winery. The vibrant website design has been made to match the style of the trendy new bar and restaurant in Burton upon Trent. Take a look for yourself, visit the website. Launch: www.pascalattheoldvicarage.co.uk
Award winning French-English restaurant The Old Vicarage commissioned us to develop their new website. We gave it a French 1930's high-fashion look which has been well received by the diners. We also built a back-end customer relationship manager that's links into their Breeze e-mail marketing account and customisable food & drink menus. Take a look for yourself, visit the website. Upcoming projects
The new year has been really busy for us so far. We've got several big projects in progress and more on the horizon. Take a sneak peek on our blog. |
